Hi there, I’m Chris
Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
Writer, Teaching Pastor, and Retired Army Officer
Let’s get connected –
01. Teaching pastor
I have been a Christian for nearly 50 years and credentialed with the Assemblies of God for half of that time. My passion is for sister disciples – the Ninety-Nine. I love the fellowship, the fascinating discoveries in God’s Word, and the light in your eyes as you learn about the beauty and presence of the Living God. To engage in Scripture is to experience God.
02. Wife, Mother & Mimi
My husband, Bob, and I met in the Army during the Vietnam War. Even though they canceled my orders for Vietnam (because of Saigon falling), my marriage had only just started. We’re celebrating 25 years together in this photo – it will be 50 next year. We’ve been married for 46 years and have two grown children, Cheri and Matthew. Matthew is married to the love of his life, Nicole. They have one son, Austin. Cheri is unmarried and lives nearby. We live in Florida with our two active and spoiled border-doodle, Molly Anne.
03. Writer
I’m a writer. Sharing what God has taught me is fulfilling, and I can’t see life differently. As we speak, I’m an award-winning poet and have contributed to numerous anthologies. I’m writing book #1 in a series on the “with-God life.” The first book is poetry.

I believe when we read Scripture we experience God
Let God have the ultimate word over your life.
If spiritual development is not based on the foundational word of God, then other things will stunt your growth and no one wants to walk on shaky ground.
I believe a robust knowledge of God and His Word is a must.
If we do not have an apparent knowledge of God and His Word, then we will be subject to deception, false teaching, and misinformation. a. Sacred Scripture gives us the wisdom and knowledge we need for life.
I’m credentialed with Assemblies of God
I’m a teaching pastor with a love of the Word. Although I’m credentialed with the Assemblies of God, my training has taken over 50 years at Jesus’ feet. There’s no better training than that to become a scholar of Biblical truth. Writing is a calling and pours out of my time with Him.
I write because I’ve been called to write.
My writing comes from contemplative and deliberate engagement with Sacred Scripture. The Word reaches the soul in teaching, rebukes, and corrects our mindset, and always trains us to live the “with God” life. ,
Deep calls to deep. I assure you, you will not find “kibbles and bits” of Scripture in what I write. The truth is not out there—the truth is not in you as the indwelling Spirit of truth and in God-breathed Scripture.
Drop me a line!
I’do love to hear from you.
